How long are the coworking memberships for?

Memberships are on a monthly rolling basis. 

Can I use the coworking space any time I want?

Yes, within the opening times of the location of your membership, you can use it anytime. 


Does every Servcorp location offer a Coworking Membership?

No, only the locations that have a dedicated coworking space (also called "coworking space station"). In Japan, these are available at Level 1, Marunouchi Yusen Building (Tokyo), Level 45, Sunshine 60 Building (Tokyo) and Level 9, Edobori Center Building (Osaka). 

Can I use the coworking lounge at other Servcorp locations?

Yes. With a Coworking Membership you can use the coworking lounge in over 150 Servcorp locations around the world for up to 3 hours complimentary/day. Coworking lounges vary in size and are different at each location.


Can I bring a guest?

Yes, but at your home coworking location only (for other locations you need to book a meeting room to bring guests). The Member may bring one guest for up to 2 hours per day at no extra charge. Additional hours or a day-pass can be purchased. All guests are free of charge when using a meeting room.


Can my guest (or coworker) come even if I am not there with them?

No. The Member must be accompanying the guest at all times.


Can I store some belongings?

Yes. One free storage locker is included with your membership. You will receive a key for your private locker upon request.

How fast if your Wi-Fi connection and is it secure?

We have unrestricted and lightning fast Wi-Fi using fiber optic cabling to a Tier 1 ISP. Wi-Fi is protected by the highest industry standard AES encryption technology. 

Do you have photocopiers, scanner, fax, etc. that I can use?

Yes. A full range of equipment is available for you to use on a pay as you go basis. Color photocopiers, printers, scanner, fax, shredder and so on. You can really work hassle free.

Can I use the address and register my company?

Yes. Upon application and for an additional monthly cost of ¥10,000/month you can use the address for your business literature, business registration, business cards and/or mailing address. 

Can I get a local phone number?

Yes. Upon application and for an additional monthly cost of ¥10,000/month you will receive a local phone number that will be answered by your Servcorp receptionist during business hours and transferred to your mobile, home or any other number. A 24/7 interactive voicemail system or a voice-to-email service allows you to get your messages at all times. You can download the Onefone App from app stores and you will be able to make and receive calls on the local phone number by using the app on your smartphone.

Can I use the phone from my seat?

Yes, a Cisco IP phone is available at each desk. Calls made will be charged separately. If you have subscribed for the local phone number option, the beaconed Cisco IP phone at the desk will automatically be configured to your local number through an app on your smartphone (at selected locations only).  You will be able to make phone calls using your own number on the Cisco IP phone at any desk. 

Is there any free meeting space available?

For private meetings you need to book a meeting room. We do not provide a free meeting space but you can book our facilities online and per 10 minutes at a competitive rate - this way you can be sure you have a meeting space available. It is pay as you go.

Are fixed seats available?

No, but you can always book in advance through the Servcorp Online® portal if you have a favorite seat! The seat will be reserved for you for up to 15 minutes after your start time.

Can I have opportunities to communicate with other people?

Yes, of course. You can communicate with other members in the coworking space.

You can also join Servcorp events such as business networking events, charity events, or cocktail parties which will give you more opportunities to connect more people!

If I want to terminate the membership – what do I need to do?

If you want to terminate your membership, you need to provide a written termination notice and the termination date will take effect on the last calendar day of the following month. 

Do I have to lodge a Security Deposit? Is this refundable?

Yes, one month security deposit is required with a membership. There is also a once-off set-up fee. The security deposit is fully refundable provided that you have settled any outstanding fees related to your membership.
