Celebrating 30 Years of Growth and Transformation in Japan

■ 30 Years in Japan: Servcorp's Growth

Founded in Sydney, Australia in 1978, Servcorp is a pioneer of the serviced office and virtual office industries. Servcorp entered the Japanese market in 1994, opening its first location in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Since then, it has steadily expanded its presence, now operating 30 locations across five cities—Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka—as of September 2024.

 

■ Servcorp’s Long-Term Reliability: An average contract period of 3.5 years for Coworking Space, toping the industry average!

Currently, over 8,000 clients use Servcorp's coworking spaces, serviced offices, and virtual offices in Japan. Of these, more than 2,500 clients have been with Servcorp for over 5 years, and over 800 for more than 10 years. Some clients have used Servcorp as their permanent office for more than 20 years.

According to a survey held in Yokohama, 41.7% of coworking space users sign contracts for "1 year and 1 month to 2 years" (*1), but the average contract duration for Servcorp’s coworking spaces exceeds this at 3.5 years. These achievements highlight the high level of trust in Servcorp.

As of June 2024, Servcorp has received an average of 4.3-star rating across 2,260 Google reviews. Servcorp’s secretarial services are particularly highly rated. Servcorp provides a range of services, including:

■ 30 Years of Progress for the Future: Sustainable CSR Activities

Servcorp consistently supports local charities. We believe that working with local communities can bring about significant positive change.

• Women’s Empowerment: Since Servcorp’s founding, we have actively supported the advancement of women, particularly in front-office. In Japan, 30 of our 35 managers are women, reflecting an exceptionally high percentage of female leadership.
• Charity Activities: Servcorp has continuously supported local charities. For example, we donated a total of ¥2,575,343 in 2023 to the Run for the Cure Foundation. This brought Servcorp’s total contributions to ¥22,005,014.
  Since 2007 Servcorp has supported the "Green Office Project," which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. So far Servcorp has planted over 73,000 trees, creating the "Servcorp Forest" covering more than 730,000 square meters. Through this project, we aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate our impact on the environment.
