Servcorp’s Vision for the Future of Women in Business

Servcorp Japan K.K. is proud to participate in PR TIMES’ “April Dream” initiative, a project that encourages companies to share their aspirations on April 1 and to announce the future they hope to create.
Servcorp Japan K.K. (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Alfred George Moufarrige; hereinafter “Servcorp Japan”) is a global company where women play a leading role.
This year, Servcorp marks 32 years since launching operations in Japan, and to this day approximately 90% of its employees and 80% of its management positions continue to be held by women.
As a provider of world-class flexible workspace solutions, Servcorp Japan has long been committed to creating environments in which businesses of all sizes from sole proprietors and startups to global enterprises can operate with greater flexibility and efficiency.
Behind every growing business is a team with a dream. Our April Dream for 2026 is to help businesses across Japan succeed by bringing together flexible workspace solutions, prime central locations, world-class IT infrastructure, and the power of people.
As the Act on Promotion of Women’s Participation and Advancement in the Workplace takes effect in Japan on April 1, 2026, companies are under increasing pressure to make workplace practices more transparent and to pursue continuous improvement for women’s active participation in the workforce. In this environment, attention is expanding beyond policies and systems to the quality of the workplace itself.
Whether a workplace enables flexible workstyles, supports productivity, and allows people to continue working with confidence has become a critical factor in empowering not only women, but also diverse talent more broadly. Through globally standardized office environments, receptionist and secretarial services that improve operational efficiency, and a network of locations that supports flexible workstyles, Servcorp helps companies address both workplace reform and women’s advancement from a practical, operational perspective.

Founded in Australia in 1978, Servcorp pioneered the serviced office and virtual office industry. Today, the company operates more than 150 locations across 40 cities in 19 countries. In Japan, Servcorp Japan opened its first location in 1994 and now operates 32 locations across Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka.
Servcorp has supported growing businesses, including startups led by women entrepreneurs, by creating environments where people and organizations can perform at their best. Through five-star workspaces, fast and secure IT infrastructure, and professional receptionist and secretarial support, Servcorp enables companies to reduce administrative burdens, enhance productivity, and stay focused on sustainable growth.
Servcorp’s flexible workspace model also offers a practical and scalable solution for women entrepreneurs and small teams seeking to balance life stages with long-term business development. In doing so, the company supports the continued growth of women in business while contributing to long-term corporate value through an investment in people and performance.
Going forward, Servcorp will continue building the foundation to support sustainable growth for businesses operating in Japan, while responding to evolving social expectations, including the revision of the Act on Promotion of Women’s Participation and Advancement in the Workplace.
Olga Vlietstra, General Manager of Servcorp Japan, commented:
“Behind every growing business is a team with a dream. By doing so, we aim to help businesses across Japan turn aspiration into achievement.”
