- To raise awareness of breast cancer and the importance of early detection, every year Servcorp Japan Conducts Charity Activities Across 30 Locations across Japan. -

As October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Servcorp Japan proudly announces a donation of ¥3,071,807 from its fundraising activities to the Run for the Cure Foundation (RFTC Japan) - Japan’s leading breast cancer foundation - continuing its over decade-long commitment to raising awareness and supporting breast cancer education, early detection through screening and patient support initiatives throughout Japan. The total proceeds will be deposited into the foundation’s account within October.
Since launching annual summer fundraising activities in 2015, Servcorp Japan has raised a cumulative total of ¥26,877,049 through a series of creative and community-driven initiatives. Each summer, from 2015 to 2025, Servcorp Japan has conducted fundraising campaigns with its Serviced Office, Virtual Office and Coworking Clients, across Japan. The Servcorp Team have has consistently organized fundraising events to engage clients and promote awareness of breast cancer prevention and early detection.
This year the fundraising initiatives included:
Servcorp Japan was deeply moved by the generosity and enthusiasm shown by its clients and Team Members throughout this campaign. Their contributions have made this achievement possible and will directly support RFTC Japan’s ongoing efforts to fund education, awareness, and early screening programs nationwide. Over 90% of Servcorp’s team members in Japan are women, which lends the cause particular resonance for the organization. This demographic reality underscores why we feel a close, personal connection to the fight against breast cancer.
“Supporting RFTC Japan is a mission close to our hearts,” said Olga Vlietstra, General Manager, Servcorp Japan. “With over 90% of our team being women, we feel personally connected to this cause and deeply committed to doing our part. We are honored to contribute this year’s donation and build on years of partnership in pursuit of greater breast cancer awareness, screening, and care.”
“We are deeply grateful for Servcorp Japan’s unwavering support and generosity over the past decade,” said Vickie Paradise-Green, Chairman of RFTC Japan. “Their commitment not only raises critical funds but also helps drive awareness and early detection efforts that can save lives. Partnerships like this empower us to reach more women across Japan with education, screening, and support.”
The importance of this cause is underscored by national statistics: approximately one in nine women in Japan will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime, according to the National Cancer Center Japan.
Servcorp Japan is proud to partner with RFTC Japan and through this donation, contribute to the foundation’s J-Top (Japan Team Oncology Program) initiatives, as well as its broader mission to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease through education, timely screening, and treatment.
