Ambassador-Designate to Japan, Andrew Shearer, with Olga Vlietstra, General Manager of Servcorp Japan
On 4 June 2026, Servcorp delivered a company presentation at the Friends of Australia in Kansai 2026 Reception, an event held in conjunction with Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
The reception was organized to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Basic Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Australia and Japan, highlighting the long-standing relationship and economic partnership between Australia and the Kansai region. The event brought together government representatives, business leaders, and industry stakeholders to discuss opportunities for future collaboration and economic growth between the two countries.
During the reception, the keynote toast highlighted the concept of the “3Ps” (Peace, Prosperity, and Partnership) as the foundation of the Australia–Japan relationship. Beyond these shared values, speakers emphasized that strong people-to-people connections remain essential to sustaining long-term cooperation and mutual growth. The message resonated strongly with attendees and served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of international collaboration.
